Another Updates Post, and the hunt for writers>

Posted Sun 31st Mar 2013 9:02 PM by Dan Britchford in General

If you’ve taken a look around since late last night, you’ll have noticed that things look a little different.. okay way different.

It’s the culmination of a lot of work during the last few days. I basically woke up one day and hated the design, and so started creating something I thought fitted the content a lot better – and this is what that idea became. The whole site is built around the posts and content (naturally), and is around 70% done. I hate releasing anything half baked but I held on until the latest stage where I really needed some real interaction for more improvements to be made.

I hope you like the new design, and that it makes up for the lack of posts recently. Now that I have a working model of the site (v1.5 – it’ll work up to 2.0), I can get back to the writing (mostly).

Writers, Please

As a side note, I am looking for more writers for the site. I’m open to suggestions, so if you think you’re interested, or there’s something you really want to talk about/write about/teach (it doesn’t have to be fitness/nutrition based, but those are welcome topics as well) then come talk to me about it. You can contact me through the author links over on the right.. or just send me an email at dan@liftingthebar.com !

The aim is to make this site big, with lots of different topics and some talented writers. If you want to be a part of that, now is the time to get involved!

(Feedback is very very appreciated, and there’s a comments box – and a like button – down below, and pretty much everywhere else on the site)
Go wild.

Much love,
Dan
